Ava O'Sullivan of Converse Repeats as Women’s Golf Freshman of the Month
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Ava O'Sullivan of Converse has been selected as the Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Month for women’s golf for October.
The freshman from Exton, Pennsylvania, was a two-time Conference Carolinas Women’s Golfer of the Week in the month and is currently ranked 58th nationally. O’Sullivan defeated 10 nationally ranked players at the LeeAnn Nobel Memorial tournament in the month.
O’Sullivan began the month with a tied for 21st finish at the LeeAnn Noble Memorial as she tallied seven birdies over her 54 holes and finished with a 223 (71-80-72). The next week she finished tied for fifth at the Jekyll Island Intercollegiate as she tallied five birdies over 36 holes for a 147 (70-77).
