Harri Lovett of Chowan Named CSC Academic All-America

GREENVILLE, S.C.  - The 2022 Academic All-America® Men’s Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Harri Lovett of Chowan earned first team honors for Conference Carolinas.

Lovett, a graduate student from Wrexham, Wales, has a 3.90 grade point average in Organizational Leadership after graduating with a degree in Business last year. The Conference Carolinas Defensive Player of the Year was also named second team D2 CCA All-American this season. One of eight repeat selections on the NCAA Division II Academic All-America team after also earning first team honors last season, Lovett led Conference Carolinas in assists with 11 and ranked in the top-five in the NCAA in assists per game.  Lovett finished the season with 36 assists and is tied for the most assists in Division II as an active player.

The first team boasted a 3.91 average GPA and the full team posted a 3.86 mark.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
