Four Conference Carolinas Teams Ranked in NCAA Southeast Region Polls

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas had four schools ranked in the first NCAA Southeast Region Men’s and Women’s Basketball Polls, which were released by the NCAA on Wednesday. 
 
In the men’s poll UNC Pembroke is ranked fifth. On the women’s side, Barton is ranked sixth with Belmont Abbey at No. 8 and Mount Olive No. 9. 
 
The Braves are currently ranked No. 9 nationally and own a 21-2 record on the season. 
 
The Bulldogs are 21-1 this season, are ranked eighth nationally and are riding a 16-game win streak. 
 
The Crusaders are 15-7 on the season while the Trojans are 15-2 overall. 

The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.
