2022 Conference Carolinas Indoor Track & Field Championship Preview
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The 2022 Conference Carolinas Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track and Field Championships are scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 20 - Monday, Feb. 21 at JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem.
The meet gets underway at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday with the women’s weight throw, men’s and women’s long jump and the men’s high jump. The women’s Distance Medley Relay gets things started on the track at 4:30 p.m.
Monday begins in the field at 10:30 a.m. with the men's pole vault, women’s shot put and men’s and women’s triple jump. The women’s mile kicks off the track events at 11:30 a.m. The complete meet schedule is available here.
The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released its conference Track & Field Rating Index (TFRI) this week and Mount Olive tops both the men’s and women’s rankings just ahead of UNC Pembroke. In the men’s rankings, Emmanuel is third while Southern Wesleyan is third in the women’s rankings.
While the complete Conference Carolinas performance list is available here, there have been 16 NCAA Division II provisional marks hit this season by 15 student-athletes with potentially more to come at the Fast Track.

Admission for the event will be $8 per day or $12 for an all-tournament pass. Tickets must be purchased through Conference Carolinas’ partnership with HomeTown Ticketing here.
