Conference Carolinas Announces 2022 Women’s Basketball Championship Bracket

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Barton finished the regular season an impressive 26-1 overall and 22-1 in Conference Carolinas play to earn the program's seventh regular season championship.
The top-seeded Bulldogs earned a bye to the championship semifinals at Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium on the campus of Wofford in Spartanburg, South Carolina on Saturday, March 5 at 5 p.m. Mount Olive (16-4, 14-1 CC) claimed the No. 2 seed and will earn the second bye to the semifinals on March 5 at 7:30 p.m.
Belmont Abbey finished the season 19-8 overall and 17-6 in league play to claim the No. 3 seed and a bye to the conference quarterfinals in Spartanburg on Friday, March 4 at 8:30 p.m. Chowan (17-9, 17-7 CC), earned the bid to the other quarterfinal at 6 p.m. as the No. 4 seed via a tiebreaker with No. 5 seed UNC Pembroke (19-9, 17-7 CC).
The Braves will host eighth seed Emmanuel (9-16, 9-13 CC) and ninth seed Lees-McRae (9-17, 9-15 CC) in the first and second round on Sunday, Feb. 27 and Monday, Feb. 28. The Lions and Bobcats will play in the first round at 7 p.m. with the winner to face UNC Pembroke on Feb. 28 at 5 p.m.
King finished the season 9-16 overall and 12-10 in league play to earn the No. 6 seed via a tiebreaker with Francis Marion (14-11, 13-10 CC). The Patriots are the No. 7 seed and will face No. 10 North Greenville (8-19, 8-15 CC) in the first round in Bristol, Tennessee on Sunday. Feb. 27 at 5 p.m. The winner will face the host Tornado on Monday, Feb. 28 at 7 p.m.
