Lorrie Decker of Lincoln Memorial Selected Women’s Bowling Freshman of the Month for February
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Lorrie Decker of Lincoln Memorial has been selected as the Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Month for women’s bowling for February.
A native Van Wert, Ohio, Decker earned her fourth Freshman of the Month honor as she helped the Railsplitters to a tournament title and a pair of top-10 finishes in a four tournament month. Decker began the month by helping LMU to the Railsplitter Classic title with a fifth-place individual finish with a 200 average. She collected 1,000 pins over five games with a high of 255. She averaged 177.67 over three games with a high of 226 at the Lady Techster Classic where LMU placed fifth.
Decker averaged 183.20 with 916 total pins over five games at the Mid-Winter Invitational with a high game of 213 as the team finished 13th. She capped the month with a 25th-place finish at the Stallings Invite where she averaged 189.6 over five games with 948 total pins and a high of 226.
