Jean Origene of Lees-McRae Selected Men’s Indoor Track and Field Freshman of the Month for February

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Jean Origene of Lees-McRae has been selected as the Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Month for men’s indoor track and field for February. 
 
Origene, a freshman sprinter from Newburg, New York, closed out his first indoor season by winning the Conference Carolinas title in the 60m with a time of 6.87 which tied his school record and his NCAA Division II provisional mark. He began the month with a program record in the 60m and a provisional mark with a time of 6.87 at the ETSU Invitational.
