Conference Carolinas Closes Out Solid Four Days at NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Conference Carolinas swimming closed out its efforts in the 2022 NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships at the Greensboro Aquatic Center on Saturday, March 12.
 
One day after earning All-America honors again, Joao Santos finished 43rd overall (45.14) in the 100 freestyle. Teammate Thiago Rosa qualified as the first alternate for the finals earlier in the day in the 100 freestyle with a time of 43.90.

Barton’s Kleanza Cathers finished 49th in the 100 freestyle prelims with a time of 52.50.
 
Emmanuel’s 400 freestyle relay team of Rosa, Santos, Mykhailo Semenov and Ryan Russell collected a 19th place finish in the finals with a time of 2:59.70.
