Bryson Boyette of Barton Earns Fourth Straight Weekly Honor
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Bryson Boyette of Barton has been selected as the Conference Carolinas Golfer of the Week for men’s golf for the week ending March 16.
A senior from Wilson, North Carolina, Boyette captured individual medalist honors at the Barton Intercollegiate at the Wilson Country Club in Wilson, North Carolina while also leading the Bulldogs to a tournament win. Boyette finished with a nine-under-par 207 at the par 72 course. He opened the tournament with a 69 (-3), then carded a 67 (-5) and closed the 54-hole tournament with a one-under-par 71. It’s the second straight week Boyette has carded a 67. He led the tournament in par 4 (-2) and par 5 (-5) scoring and tallied 39 pars and 12 birdies in the tournament.
This is Boyette’s sixth weekly honor this season and fourth straight.
