Eric George of Chowan, J.J. Mitchell of Barton Named to USILA/Dynamic Team of the Week

MURFREESBORO/WILSON, N.C. - The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) released its 2022 Division II Dynamic Team of the Week for the week of February 28 and Eric George of Chowan and J.J. Mitchell of Barton were two of 10 players who earned recognition from the organization for their exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.

A sophomore from Stony Plain in Alberta, Canada, George finished Chowan’s 13-9 win over Alderson Broaddus on Feb. 26 with eight points. George had six goals on 11 shots. He also had two assists. George picked up six ground balls and caused two turnovers.

Mitchell, a freshman midfielder from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, scored three goals in both Bulldogs' victories last week over Catawba (12-11) and Coker (10-7) on Wednesday and Saturday, respectively.

The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) is an organization comprised of member colleges and universities which sponsor intercollegiate lacrosse for men.

The Association is entrusted to enhance and develop intercollegiate lacrosse by providing leadership, management, and services to its membership so that student-athletes, coaches, and other constituent groups will realize the maximum benefit from the sport of lacrosse.
