The Conference Carolinas Pitcher of the Week, Fields earned his third consecutive conference weekly honor as he combined with teammate Tristen Hudson to throw a no-hitter in a 13-0 win over Southern Wesleyan on Saturday. The sophomore right-handed pitcher from West Columbia, South Carolina improved to 5-1 on the season as he struck out 12 of the 16 batters he faced over five shutout frames in the victory.
