Amanda Guzman of Erskine and Sydney Grimes of Converse Share Women’s Golfer of the Week Honors
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Amanda Guzman of Erskine and Sydney Grimes of Converse are sharing the weekly honors for Conference Carolinas women’s golf for the week ending March 29, 2022.
Grimes and Guzman both tied for 39
th at the Lady Bearcat Invitational.
A senior from Suffolk, Virginia, Grimes finished with a two-round total of 158 to finish tied for 39
th. Grimes improved her first round score of 82 by six strokes with a final round tally of 76.
A freshman from Valparaiso, Chile, Guzman earns Golfer of the Week honors for the fourth time this season. In collecting the two-round score of 158, Guzman posted an opening round score of 78 before collecting an 80 in the second round.
