2022 Conference Carolinas Women’s Golf Championship Preview
CHAMPIONSHIP WEBSITE | LIVE SCORING | HARTWELL, Ga. – On Saturday, April 2, 11 Conference Carolinas institutions will descend on Hartwell, Georgia for the Conference Carolinas women’s golf championship which returns to Cateechee Golf Club for the first time since 2019.
The teams will have a practice round before championship play begins on Sunday, April 3. The 54-hole event will be competed over three days on the par 71, 5,760-yard course.
The preseason favorite, UNC Pembroke, enters the championship as the highest-ranked program in the latest Golfstat rankings, seven spots ahead of Mount Olive who was picked second back in January. Reigning champion Belmont Abbey comes in third in what promises to be a tight championship race.
Erskine is the fourth-ranked program followed by Converse, King, North Greenville, Emmanuel, Southern Wesleyan, Barton and Chowan.
