UNC Pembroke to Represent Conference Carolinas at NCAA Division II Women’s Golf Championship
INDIANAPOLIS – UNC Pembroke will represent Conference Carolinas in the upcoming NCAA Division II Women’s Golf Championship.
The NCAA announced the field of 48 teams and 24 individuals that will be competing in the regional competition of the 2022 NCAA Division II Women’s Golf Championship on Monday, April 25.
The 2022 NCAA Division II South Regional will be contested May 2-4 at the Grande Oaks Golf Club in Davie, Florida. The regional will be hosted by Nova Southeastern.
UNC Pembroke will be participating in its third NCAA regional after claiming the automatic bid by winning the 2022 Conference Carolinas Women’s Golf Championship. The Braves made previous trips in 2011 and 2012 and finished ninth as a team in 2012 while Meghan Moore was national runner-up.
The top three (central) and five (east, south and west) teams from each NCAA Division II regionals along with the top two individuals not on an advancing team will advance to the finals May 10-14 at Chattahoochee Golf Club in Gainesville, Georgia.
