Conference Carolinas Announces 2022 Acrobatics & Tumbling Bracket

BRISTOL, Tenn. – Conference Carolinas unveiled the bracket for the 2022 Conference Carolinas Acrobatics and Tumbling Championship with teams set to compete for the title at King University in Bristol, Tennessee on Saturday, April 9 and Sunday, April 10.

The team semifinals will take place on April 9 at 4 and 7 p.m. with the individual event finals at 11 a.m. on April 10 and the team final to follow at 5 p.m. 

Regular season champion Limestone, who is ranked No. 6 in the National Collegiate Acrobatics and Tumbling Association (NCATA) poll and one of two unbeaten teams in the country, is the top seed with an 9-0 record on the season and a 8-0 league mark. The Saints will face No. 4 seed Belmont Abbey in the first semifinal at 4 p.m. on April 9. The Crusaders finished the regular season 6-4 overall and 5-3 in Conference Carolinas play. 

The second semifinal on Saturday, April 9 at 7 p.m. will feature the host and 2021 regular season champion Tornado of King and reigning conference champion Converse. King is the No. 2 seed and ranked No. 9 in the NCATA rankings with a record of 8-1 overall and 7-1 in league play. The Valkyries are seeded third with a record of 8-2 on the season and 6-2 in league play. Converse is ranked 10th in the NCATA poll.
