Amanda Guzman of Erskine Selected Women’s Golf Freshman of the Month for March
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Amanda Guzman of Erskine has been selected as the Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Month for women’s golf for March.
The 2021-22 Conference Carolinas Women’s Golf Freshman of the Year, Guzman began the month as the top Conference Carolinas finisher at the Lady Bearcat Invitational at the Greenwood Country Club on March 28-29. She carded a 36-hole 158 (78-80) to tie for 39th. She closed the month with a sixth-place finish at the Converse Spring Invitational by Founders at Carolina Country Club on March 7-8. A native of Valparaiso, Chile, she finished the 36-hole event with a 154 after carding back-to-back 77s.
