Conference Carolinas Unveils 2021-22 Women's Golf All-Conference Honors
GREENVILLE, S.C. - Conference Carolinas released its 2021-22 Women's Golf awards, as selected by the league’s head coaches, on Thursday, April 7.
Georgia Page of UNC Pembroke, the 2022 Conference Carolinas Women’s Golf Championship individual medalist, was named Player of the Year. Page won the tournament by two strokes with a 228 (77-75-76) and has an adjusted scoring average of 76.42 which ranks 52nd in the region.
Amanda Guzman of Erskine, the top freshman finisher at the championship, was named the Freshman of the Year. The tournament leader after a second round 72, the lowest of the championship, Guzman finished third overall with a 231 (78-72-81). She has an adjusted scoring average of 77.43, third best in the conference, and is ranked 88th in the region.
First year head coach Hannah Luckett of UNC Pembroke was named Coach of the Year after leading the Braves to their first-ever Conference Carolinas Women’s Golf Championship. The Braves won the event with a 923 (314-312-297) and placed all five golfers on the 10-member all-tournament team.
