Conference Carolinas Announces 2022 Men’s Volleyball Championship Bracket

GREENVILLE, S.C. – For the first time in the eight-year history of the North Greenville men’s volleyball program the Crusaders claimed the Conference Carolinas regular season championship and the top seed in the 2022 Conference Carolinas Men’s Volleyball Championship which begins on Wednesday, April 13.
North Greenville enters the postseason 17-5 on the season and 11-2 in league play and will advance to the tournament semifinals on Friday, April 22 at 5 p.m. at Kornegay Arena on the campus of Mount Olive. King captured the second seed with a 3-1 win over Mount Olive on the final day of the regular season to improve to 17-11 overall and 11-3 in conference play. They will play in the second semifinal on Friday, April 22 at 7:30 p.m.
The Trojans, who are also 11-3 in league play and 14-6 overall, are the third seed and will host the winner of No. 6 Belmont Abbey (14-15, 5-9 CC), the reigning tournament champion, and No. 7 Lees-McRae (8-14, 4-10 CC) in the quarterfinals on Tuesday, April 19 at 7 p.m. The Crusaders and Bobcats will play on Wednesday, April 13 at 7 p.m. at Belmont Abbey.
Emmanuel is the No. 4 seed in the tournament with a 14-13 overall record and a 7-7 mark in conference play. They will also play on April 19 at 7 p.m. as they will host the winner of No. 5 Erskine (12-17, 6-8 CC) and No. 8 Barton (0-19, 0-14 CC). The Flying Fleet and the Bulldogs will square off on April 13 at 7 p.m. at Erskine.
