RESULTS | DEARBORN, Mich. - Samuel Trueba of King, playing as an individual, was one of nine golfers in the 108-golfer field to post a score under par on the second day of the 2022 NCAA Division II Men's Golf National Championship at TPC of Michigan in Dearborn on Monday.
 
A junior from Pedrena, Spain, Trueba tallied five birdies, including a three-under 33 on the back nine, to post a second round 71 and climb six spots in the standings to tie for seventh with a 36-hole total of 144 (73-71). Trueba is tied for the tournament lead in par 5 scoring at five-under on the week while he is tied for second in par 3 scoring at one under. His nine birdies in the tournament are currently tied for second-most in the field. 
 
Indianapolis continued to lead the team championship with a 590 (288-302) one stroke better than Arkansas Tech (297-294), two clear for Central Missouri (300-292) and Colorado State-Pueblo (295-297) and three better than Barry (290-303). Keegan Bronnenberg (73-69) and Oliver Mast (69-73) of Indianapolis and Holden Hamilton (72-70) of Arkansas Tech are tied atop the individual leaderboard at 142.
