LEXINGTON, Ky. – Conference Carolinas Offensive Player of the Year Joshua Kim of King has been selected as an Honorable Mention All-America selection.
 
The NVA/AVCA Men's Division I-II All-America Teams were unveiled on Monday, May 2.
 
Kim is the second Tornado to earn Honorable Mention AVCA All-America honors, joining Jeff Sprayberry in 2017 and 2018.
 
A first-team all-conference selection in the 2022 season, Kim was selected AVCA National Player of the Week as well as Conference Carolinas Player of the Week on March 29.

This season Kim averaged 3.81 kills and 1.71 digs per set. The kills ranked him third in the conference, while he was ninth in Conference Carolinas in digs per set. He also ranked in the league's top-10 with an attack percentage of .317. He posted at least 10 kills in a match 15 times this season, including a season-high of 24 when he hit .333 in a win at the University of Charleston. That match was also his lone double-double of the season as he posted a season-high 16 digs.
