Three Belmont Abbey Student-Athletes Named USILA All-Americans

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) announced the 2022 Dynamic Division II All-Americans and three Conference Carolinas student-athletes from Belmont Abbey earned the honors.

Noah Haas, a junior from Gulf Breeze, Florida, was named Third Team Midfielder. Haas finished the season second on the team with 45 points on 36 goals and nine assists. He put 64 percent of his shots on goal this season and earned first team all-league honors in helping the Crusaders to the 2022 Conference Carolinas Regular Season and Tournament Championships. 

Neil Lingerman, a senior defender from Goshen, New York, earned Honorable Mention honors as he led the Crusaders with 20 caused turnovers on the season and had 35 ground balls to go with two points on one goal and an assist. He led a defense that permitted just 38 goals in an undfeated league season. Lingerman was named to the All-Confernece Carolinas First Team in 2022.

Austin Hasen, the 2022 Conference Carolinas Offensive Player of the Year, was also named Honorable Mention at attack. Hasen, a junior from Brampton, Ontario, Canada, led the Crusaders with 58 points on 41 goals and 17 assists with 81.5 percent of his shots on goal. He also had seven caused turnovers and 14 ground balls.
