Conference Carolinas has 66 Student-Athletes Named 2022 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field All-Region

NEW ORLEANS, La. All-Region honorees for the 2022 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field season were announced on Wednesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) and Conference Carolinas had 66 student-athletes representing 10 institutions earn the distinction.

The top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region’s top-3 relay teams.

Mount Olive led all conference programs with 31 all-region performers while Southern Wesleyan had 10 and UNC Pembroke had nine recognized. Emmanuel and Lees-McRae each had five on the list, Converse had two and Barton, Erskine, King and North Greenville each had one student-athlete recognized. 

Of the 66 selections, Conference Carolinas had 10 individual and two relay top region performers in the Southeast Region. Mount Olive had four individual top performers and one relay while Lees-McRae had two individual top performers in three events, Southern Wesleyan had one individual and one relay while Emmanuel and UNC Pembroke each had one top performer.
