Six Conference Carolinas Programs Earn United Soccer Coaches Academic Award

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The United Soccer Coaches announced the College Team Academic Award winners, recognized for their exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2021-22 academic year and seven Confernece Carolinas programs recognized.
 
Chowan, Emmanuel and Lees-McRae each had both their men’s and women’s teams earn the honor while Belmont Abbey, Mount Olive, North Greenville and UNC Pembroke earned women’s team honors.
 
A total of 746 soccer teams (220 men, 382 women) posted a team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2021-22 academic year. Of that total, 130 schools had both their men’s and women’s programs recognized.
