Conference Carolinas and Hudl Expand Partnership Into Conference Carolinas Digital Network With Official Start of 2022-23 Academic Year
GREENVILLE, S.C. – The 2022-23 academic year will once again feature Conference Carolinas streaming its athletic contests on its Digital Network.
The Conference Carolinas Digital Network is available free online at ConferenceCarolinasDN.com as well as on platforms such as Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV and Apple TV. Mobile devices including iPhone, iPad and Android will also work with the default web browser.
The Conference Carolinas Digital Network powered by Hudl, formerly BlueFrame, is the official home of Conference Carolinas. It will encompass all original programming from Conference Carolinas.
“This already unique partnership between Conference Carolinas and Hudl has continued to grow and flourish since our initial agreement this past spring,” Conference Carolinas Commissioner Chris Colvin said. “We love being able to incorporate so many different aspects of our partnership in various avenues and Conference Carolinas continuing its free streams for its members on our Digital Network in collaboration with Hudl continues to make it incredibly easy for our member institution and our fans. ConferenceCarolinasDN.com is a valued asset to all in Conference Carolinas.”
With Hudl purchasing BlueFrame this past summer, Conference Carolinas and Hudl were able to even further expand their relationship in the 2022-23 academic year with the free streaming in addition to the previously released partnership between the two for exclusive video capture, analysis and exchange.
As part of the partnership, Hudl also manages the league-wide video capture and exchange for men’s and women’s soccer, basketball and volleyball in Conference Carolinas. Each game played at a Conference Carolinas home stadium will be automatically captured with AI-powered Hudl Focus cameras and uploaded to a central Hudl library. Film of every inter-conference game will be automatically exchanged between teams, saving coaches valuable time and giving them easy and secure access to the game film they need.
With conference-wide video capture, Conference Carolinas athletes will have constant access to a vast library of game and practice tape, plus individual Hudl profiles and tools to create and share highlight reels with family, friends and evaluators at the next level.
“We are excited to have all member institutions within Conference Carolinas on board with Athletic Department Packages,” Greg Nelson, Senior Vice President, said. “This relationship is the first of its kind in Division II and will see each department implement technology like Hudl Focus for its indoor and outdoor sports. We can't wait to see how this relationship grows from here. We have been impressed with Conference Carolinas forward looking vision from the time this conversation started over a year ago.”
