Conference Carolinas Holding Strong in Regional Rankings
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas has had a successful start to the fall campaign with nine teams ranked in their respective regional polls in the sports of men’s and women’s soccer and men’s and women’s cross country.
North Greenville and Francis Marion represented the league in the United Soccer Coaches Southeast Region rankings with the Crusaders at No. 3 and the Patriots at No. 9. NGU is 3-2-1 on the season and 1-0-1 in league play while FMU is 2-3-2 overall and 1-0 in league play. The full rankings can be viewed here.
On the women’s side of the pitch, UNC Pembroke is fifth in the Southeast with a 5-1 record overall and a 2-0 mark in league action. The full rankings are available here.
On the course, Emmanuel men’s cross country leads all conference institutions with a fourth-place ranking in the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Southeast Region rankings. They are joined by conference foes UNC Pembroke (6th) and Lees-McRae (8th). The national rankings can be viewed here with regional rankings located

Three women’s cross country teams made the USTFCCCA Southeast Region rankings led by UNC Pemborke at No. 6. They were followed by Converse (8th) and King (9th). The women’s national poll is here while the regional rankings are available
