Emmanuel Picked to Repeat in Conference Carolinas Women’s Swimming Preseason Poll

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Reigning Conference Carolinas women’s swimming champion Emmanuel finds itself atop the 2022-23 Conference Carolinas Women’s Swimming Preseason Poll.

The conference office officially released the preseason poll on Sept. 23, 2022. The preseason poll was voted on by the league’s head coaches. 

The Lions collected 48 points and claimed six-of-eight first-place votes while Barton was a close second with 41 points and one first-place nod. UNC Pembroke was chosen third with 36 points while Lees-McRae was fourth with 33 points and the final first-place vote. King (19), Converse (18), Chowan (15) and Salem (14) rounded out the poll. 

The 2023 Conference Carolinas Men’s and Women’s Swimming Championships are scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 15-Saturday, Feb. 18 at the Kingsport Aquatic Center in Kingsport, Tennessee.
