CaroMont Health Park to Host 2023 Conference Carolinas Baseball Championship

GASTONIA, N.C. – Conference Carolinas is excited to announce that it will hold its 2023 Baseball Championship at CaroMont Health Park.
 
Home of the Gastonia Honey Hunters of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball (ALPB), CaroMont Health Park is a 5,000-plus seat facility that has six luxury cabanas, indoor and outdoor banquet areas, party decks and berm seating and a 360-degree concourse.
 
The agreement is a three-year deal.
 
“It is always of top priority for all in Conference Carolinas to work collaboratively to find first-class facilities that can host our championships,” Conference Carolinas Commissioner Chris Colvin said. “We fully believe that we have accomplished our goal and much more with our upcoming Baseball Championship being held at CaroMont Health Park. We have arguably the best Division II baseball conference in the country and our collaboration with FUSE, the City of Gastonia and Gaston County Tourism Development will allow us to properly showcase our top-notch baseball student-athletes in May of 2023.”
 
The 2023 Conference Carolinas Baseball Championship will get underway with single-elimination games between the No. 6 and No. 7 seeds and the No. 5 and No. 8 seeds on Wednesday, May 3. The double-elimination portion of the bracket begins on Thursday, May 4. The final(s) will be held on Sunday, May 8.
