UNC Pembroke Women’s Soccer Represents Conference Carolinas in NCAA Southeast Region Rankings

GREENVILLE, S.C. – The first NCAA Division II women’s soccer region rankings were unveiled on Wednesday, Oct. 25 and UNC Pembroke is under consideration for a postseason spot.
 
In the first ranking schools are listed as under consideration in alphabetical order.
 
UNC Pembroke is currently 9-3-3 on the season, 7-1-3 in league play and 4-0-3 in the East division. They have secured at least a share of the division title and are currently atop the KPI standings for the top seed in the conference tournament which gets underway on Wednesday, Nov. 1.
 
The 2023 NCAA Division II Women’s Soccer Championship will include 56 teams with eight from the Southeast Region advancing to the tournament.
 
The Southeast Region features three automatic bids with the winners of the Conference Carolinas, Peach Belt Conference and South Atlantic Conference tournaments earning automatic berths to the 2023 NCAA Division II Women’s Soccer Tournament. The rest of the selections will be at-large choices.
