Emmanuel, Mount Olive, North Greenville Women’s Volleyball Remain Ranked in NCAA Southeast Region Rankings
GREENVILLE, S.C. – The third NCAA Division II women’s volleyball region rankings were unveiled on Wednesday, Nov. 15 and three Conference Carolinas programs, Emmanuel, Mount Olive and North Greenville, remain ranked in the Southeast Region.
Emmanuel, the No. 3 seed in the Conference Carolinas Women’s Volleyball Championship and Southwest division co-champions, is 18-10 this season, 19-10 in the region, and is the top ranked league program coming in at No. 7. They will face Lees-McRae in the quarterfinals of the league championship on Friday.
Mount Olive, who finished the regular season 20-10 overall and 20-9 in the region, is ranked ninth in the region and are the top seed in the upcoming Conference Carolinas Women’s Volleyball Championship. The Trojans earned a bye into the semifinals at the North Charleston Athletic Center in North Charleston, South Carolina on Saturday, Nov. 18.
North Greenville is No. 10 in the region and shared the Southwest division title with Emmanuel. The Crusaders ended the regular season 23-6 overall and are the No. 2 seed in the tournament and received a bye into the second semifinal on Nov. 18.
The Southeast Region features three automatic bids with the winners of the Conference Carolinas, Peach Belt Conference and South Atlantic Conference tournaments earning automatic berths to the 2023 NCAA Division II Women’s Volleyball Tournament. The rest of the selections will be at-large choices.
