Women’s Volleyball Trio Represent Conference Carolinas in NCAA Southeast Region Rankings
GREENVILLE, S.C. – The first NCAA Division II women’s volleyball region rankings were unveiled on Wednesday, Nov. 1 and three Conference Carolinas programs, Emmanuel, Mount Olive and North Greenville, are under consideration for a postseason spot in the Southeast Region.
In the first ranking schools are listed as under consideration in alphabetical order.
Emmanuel is currently 16-10 overall, 11-3 in league play and 6-1 in the Southwest division where they are currently in second behind North Greenville. The Crusaders are 22-5 overall, 13-2 in league play and 6-0 in the division.
Mount Olive and UNC Pembroke are tied with Francis Marion at 4-2 in the East division while Mount Olive is 19-9 overall and 13-2 in league play.
The Southeast Region features three automatic bids with the winners of the Conference Carolinas, Peach Belt Conference and South Atlantic Conference tournaments earning automatic berths to the 2023 NCAA Division II Women’s Volleyball Tournament. The rest of the selections will be at-large choices.
