Conference Carolinas Places 62 on CSC All-District Soccer Teams

GREENVILLE, S.C.  - The 2023 Academic All-District® Men’s and Women’s Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. 

Conference Carolinas had 62 student-athletes named to the All-District teams with 40 women’s student-athletes and 22 men’s student-athletes earning the honor. Belmont Abbey, Lees-McRae and Mount Olive led nine women’s league programs with six honorees while Converse led seven Conference Carolinas men’s teams with six on the list. 

Chowan, Francis Marion and UNC Pembroke women’s soccer each had five student-athletes honored with King and Converse placing three each on the list. Barton had one student-athlete recognized.

On the men’s side, Mount Olive had five honorees with Belmont Abbey adding four. Barton, Chowan, King and Lees-McRae each had two selections while Barton had one.

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December. The CSC Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed here.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2023-24 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
