Eric George of Chowan Named to USILA/Dynamic Division II Team of the Week

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) released its 2023 Division II Dynamic Team of the Week for the week of Feb. 20 and Eric George of Chowan represented Conference Carolinas on the 10 player team that earned recognition from the organization for their exceptional performances in their program's games this past week.

A junior on attack from Stony Plain, Alberta in Canada, George scored a career-high nine goals in Chowan’s 25-16 road win over future conference rival Shorter on Feb. 18. The Conference Carolinas men’s lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week also had four assists in the victory. George collected four ground balls in the win. George presently is second in Conference Carolinas goals per game (4.00) and is first in assists per game (3.00).

The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) is an organization comprised of member colleges and universities which sponsor intercollegiate lacrosse for men.

The Association is entrusted to enhance and develop intercollegiate lacrosse by providing leadership, management, and services to its membership so that student-athletes, coaches, and other constituent groups will realize the maximum benefit from the sport of lacrosse.
