Conference Carolinas Places 20 on CSC All-District Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Teams
GREENVILLE, S.C. - The 2022-23 Academic All-District® Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving teams, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes volleyball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Conference Carolinas had 20 student-athletes named to the All-District teams with 15 women and five men making the list. Barton and King led all programs with five honorees. The Tornado had three women and two men recognized while the Bulldogs had four women and one male earn the honor. Chowan (two women, two men) and Converse (four women) each had four student-athletes honored while UNC Pembroke had two student-athletes on the list.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in mid March. The CSC Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed here.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
