Drew Moore of King Named NCBWA Southeast Region Pitcher of the Week
WINGATE, N.C.- The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) announced on Tuesday that King left-handed pitcher Drew Moore is the Southeast Region Pitcher of the Week.
The Conference Carolinas Pitcher of the Week, Moore was dominant in his first start of the season, throwing a complete-game one-hitter in a seven-inning season-opening 1-0 victory over UVA Wise. Moore struck out seven in the game in which he had a no-hitter going into the sixth inning.
Dylan Driver of Catawba was named the Southeast Region Player of the Week.
