Gabriel Scott of Belmont Abbey Repeats as Men’s Bowling Freshman of the Month

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Gabriel Scott of Belmont Abbey has been selected as the Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Month for men’s bowling for January. 
 
A freshman from Tazwell, Virginia, Scott averaged 204.4 pins across five individual games in the month. He also was instrumental in helping the Crusaders finish fifth at the SCAD Baker Challenge.

In his lone individual action of the month at the Kegel ISBPA Midwest Collegiate Classic, Scott finished 87th in the 450-plus bowler field as he tallied 1,022 total pins with three games over 200 with a high game of 237. He finished the month with an 83.7 percent mark percentage and a 48.9 percent strike percentage.
