Tavarus Webb of Emmanuel Selected Men's Basketball Freshman of the Month
GREENVILLE, S.C. - Tavarus Webb of Emmanuel has been selected as the Freshman of the Month for Conference Carolinas men’s basketball for January of 2023.
The 6-foot-4 freshman guard from Hartwell, Georgia, Webb averaged 15 points, seven rebounds, four assists, 2.0 steals and 1.6 blocks per game during the month of January. He captured a double-double in a league win over Chowan on Jan. 28. Webb claimed his second Conference Carolinas Defensive Player of the Week honor on Jan. 30.
In conference games, Webb is currently in the top-10 in the league in blocked shots per game (1.3) and steals per game (1.8).
