BOX SCORE | SALISBURY, N.C. – Eighth-seeded UNC Pembroke couldn’t ask for a better start to the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional, but the Braves struggled after the opening 10 minutes as their historic season came to an end in a 57-40 loss to top-seeded and 13th-ranked Catawba in the first round of the national tournament.

The Braves, who finished the season 22-10, connected on their first three shots, all from behind the 3-point arc, for a 9-0 lead.
