RESULTS | CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – South Atlantic Conference Carolinas men's wrestling member Lander finished as the national runner-up at the 2023 NCAA Division II Men's Wrestling Championship at the Alliant Energy PowerHouse.

The nationally second-ranked Bearcats concluded the championship with a total of 78 points to end their efforts as the national runner-up.

Fourth-ranked Logan Hall of Lander advanced to the national championship match at 184 pounds, but fell 3-1 to Ty McGeary of West Liberty in overtime. Hall had advanced to the title match by besting top-seeded Billy Higgins of Nebraska-Kearney, 3-2, in the semifinals.

Hall was the lone South Atlantic Conference Carolinas wrestler to advance to a national title match, but he was definitely not the only All-American.
