Emmanuel Closes Out NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships With More All-America Honors

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Emmanuel swimming closed out an impressive few days at the 2023 NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships at the Indiana University Natatorium with more All-America honors on the final day on Saturday, March 11, 2023. 

Bartosz Mielniczuk of Emmanuel picked up another All-America honor by finishing fourth in the consolation final of the men's 100 freestyle with a time of 43.88. Mielniczuk finished 12th overall in the event. Earlier in the week he also collected All-America honors in the 50 freestyle. 

One day after picking up first-team All-America honors by finishing fifth in the 100 yard breaststroke final with a time of 53.17, Luigi Da Silva of Emmanuel collected another All-America honor by winning the consolation final of the 200 breaststroke with a time of 1:57.81. Da Silva finished ninth overall. 

Emmanuel's strong appearance at the 2023 NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships officially ended with the Lions' men’s 400 freestyle relay team finishing 19th with a time of 2:59.59.
