Lisa Wahlqvist of King Named Conference Carolinas Women’s Golfer of the Week
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Lisa Wahlqvist of King was selected as the Conference Carolinas Golfer of the Week for women’s golf for the week ending March 21.
A freshman from Doha, Qatar, Wahlqvist earned individual medalist honors at the Agnes McAmis Memorial hosted by Tusculum at Link Hills Golf and Country Club in Greenville, Tennessee.
Wahlqvist carded a two-round 150 (77-73) to win by two strokes at the par 71, 5,843-yard course. She led the tournament in par 4 scoring at 4.14 (+3) and tied for second in par 3 scoring at 3.25 (+2). She also tallied a tournament-best 23 pars and tied for the third-most birdies with three.
