Hailey Carroll and Kacey Kubarewicz Earn Women’s Lacrosse Weekly Honors
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Hailey Carroll and Kacey Kubarewicz were selected as the Conference Carolinas weekly award winners for women’s lacrosse for the week ending March 5.
Caroll was selected as the Offensive Player of the Week, while Kubarewicz earned Defensive Player of the Week recognition.
A junior attack from Knoxville, Tennessee, Carroll put together two very strong offensive games in wins over Erskine and Southern Wesleyan this past week. She finished with a combined four goals and 10 assists over the two games. She recorded one goal and six assists against the Flying Fleet on March 1. She finished the week with three goals and four assists against the Warriors on Saturday.
Kubarewicz, a sophomore midfielder from Lanoka Harbor, New Jersey, was an integral part of a defense that allowed just one goal and four shots over two games this past week. She finished the week with a combined five caused turnovers, two ground balls, a draw control, two goals and an assist.
