Eric George of Chowan Named to USILA/Dynamic Division II Team of the Week
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) released its 2023 Division II Dynamic Team of the Week for the week of March 6 and Eric George of Chowan represented Conference Carolinas on the 10 player team that earned recognition from the organization for their exceptional performances in their program’s games this past week.
For the second time this season George earned the weekly honor. The junior attack from Stony Plain, Alberta surpassed 100 career goals on the week for the Hawks. The Conference Carolinas men’s lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week, George finished Chowan’s two games last week with an impressive 10 goals and five assists. He first picked up four goals and three assists in Chowan’s game with Young Harris before adding six goals and two assists in Chowan’s contest with Wheeling. George had four man-up goals on the week. George currently leads Conference Carolinas in goals per game at 4.50.
The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) is an organization comprised of member colleges and universities which sponsor intercollegiate lacrosse for men.
