Dallas Wilson of Mount Olive Chosen Men’s Wrestling Freshman of the Month
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Dallas Wilson of Mount Olive has been selected as the Freshman of the Month for February for South Atlantic Conference Carolinas men’s wrestling.
Wilson has now claimed the award twice in the 2022-23 season.
A redshirt freshman from Stedman, North Carolina, Wilson posted a 3-0 mark in February and closed the year with an undefeated record in conference dual matches. He also finished the regular season as the No. 11 ranked wrestler by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) at 149. Wilson’s highlight win of the month came against nationally-ranked Jake Piccirilli of UNC Pembroke on Feb. 4 by a 4-0 decision.
