Gracie Grady of Belmont Abbey Selected Acrobatics & Tumbling Freshman of the Month

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Gracie Grady of Belmont Abbey has been selected as the Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Month for acrobatics & tumbling for February. 
 
A base and native of Kyle, Texas, Grady helped the Crusaders to a 2-0 start to the season including the program’s first-ever win over No. 8 Converse. 

Grady's highlights in the season opener against Converse included a 9.6/10 in compulsory pyramid, a 9.6/9.9 in pyramid heat 2, a 9.35/9.95 in acro heat 3 and an 8.85 out of 9.3 in toss heat 3. She competed in a total of seven heats plus team event. 

In a win over Coker, Grady helped the Crusaders score a 9.5 or higher in three heats including compulsory pyramid (9.7/1), acro 7 element (9.55/9.9) and pyramid heat 1 (9.8 out of 9.9). She also helped the team to a team event score of 90.42.
