Madison Ferguson of Lincoln Memorial Earns Women’s Bowling Freshman of the Month

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Madison Ferguson of Lincoln Memorial has been selected as the Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Month for women’s bowling for February. Ferguson also won the award in October.
 
A native of Vandalia, Illinois, Ferguson averaged 188.7 pins over nine games in the month with a top-20 individual finish across two events.

She opened the month with 749 total pins over four games for a 187.25 average at the Mid-Winter Invitational. She bowled a high-game of 215 to help the Railsplitters to a 10th-place finish. She capped the month with a 19th-place finish at the Stallings Invitational where she rolled 951 total pins over five games for a 190.20 average. She had three 200-plus games with a high of 212. LMU finished fifth as a team at the event.
