Conference Carolinas Announces 2023 Men’s Volleyball Championship Bracket

GREENVILLE, S.C. – For the second straight season North Greenville men’s volleyball has claimed the Conference Carolinas regular-season championship and the top seed in the 2023 Conference Carolinas Men’s Volleyball Championship which begins on Tuesday, April 18.
North Greenville, who is 18-7 on the season and 11-3 in league play, enters the tournament on a five-match win streak and will advance to the tournament semifinals on Friday, April 21 at 5 p.m. at the Student Center Complex on the campus of King. Erskine captured the second seed with a sweep of Emmanuel on the final day of the regular season to improve to 14-12 overall and 9-5 in conference play. They will play in the second semifinal on Friday, April 21 at 7:30 p.m.
The Tornado, who are also 8-6 in league play and 13-15 overall, are the third seed via tiebreaker over Belmont Abbey and will host No. 6 Mount Olive (11-16, 6-8 CC), the 2022 tournament runner-up, in the quarterfinals on Tuesday, April 18 at 7 p.m. King swept the regular-season series with a pair of 3-1 wins this season.
The Crusaders are the No. 4 seed at 8-6 in conference play and 14-15 overall. They will host the other quarterfinal on Tuesday, April 18 at 7 p.m. as they face No. 5 Lees-McRae (11-14, 7-7 CC). The two teams split the 2022 season series with each winning at home. The Abbey won, 3-0, in Belmont, North Carolina on March 18 and the Bobcats won at Banner Elk, North Carolina on April 5, 3-1.
