Amanda Hamrin, UNC Pembroke Sit Atop Conference Carolinas Women’s Golf Leaderboard After 36 Holes

SNOW HILL, N.C. – After the second round of the 2023 Conference Carolinas Women’s Golf Championship at Cutter Creek Golf Club in Snow Hill, North Carolina, the top-seeded Braves of UNC Pembroke have a seven stroke lead led by individual leader Amanda Hamrin.
Hamrin carded a second round 75 (+3) and holds a one stroke lead over teammate Georgia Page (73-76). Hamrin’s 148 (73-75) is two strokes better than three others tied for third in Amanda Guzman of Erskine (73-76), Nicole Kramer of North Greenville (74-76) and Helena Noel of Converse (77-73). Noel had the low round on day two.
Noel leads the field in par 3 scoring (-2) and is tied for the tournament lead in birdies (7) with Hamrin. Guzman has a tournament-best 27 pars and leads the field in par 4 scoring (+2). Page continues to lead in par 5 scoring at three-under par.
UNC Pembroke followed an opening round 312 with a 304 on day two for a 36-hole 616. They lead Erskine (314-309=623) by seven strokes and Converse (315-309=624) by eight. Belmont Abbey, the round one leader, is fourth at 626 (310-316) with Mount Olive rounding out the top five at 634 (315-319).
The final round will get underway on Tuesday, April 18 at 9 a.m. with players teeing off hole No. 1 and hole No. 10. Tee times and live scoring links are available here.
