Mika Buchholtz of Chowan Named Men's Golfer of the Week
GREENVILLE, S.C. - Mika Buchholtz of Chowan has been named the Golfer of the Week for Conference Carolinas men's golf for the week ending April 18, 2023.
A freshman from Pinnenerg, Germany, Buchholtz collected a top-five finish at the Glenn Heath Memorial Tournament at the Williamsburg Club in Williamsburg, Virginia.
Buchholtz carded a 77 in round one before following up with a 1-under 71 with three birdies and an eagle in the second and final round. He came out firing in round two by going 4-under through the first six holes. His efforts allowed him to tie for fourth individually.
