Conference Carolinas Unveils 2022-23 Women's Golf All-Conference Honors
GREENVILLE, S.C. - Conference Carolinas released its 2022-23 Women's Golf awards, as selected by the league’s head coaches, on Friday, April 21.
Georgia Page of UNC Pembroke, the 2023 Conference Carolinas Women’s Golf Championship individual runner-up, was named Golfer of the Year for the second straight season. A redshirt senior from Sydney, Australia, Page is the third Conference Carolinas student-athlete to earn the honor in back-to-back seasons but first since 2011. Page competed in 22 rounds over nine tournaments this season and averaged 75.09 strokes per round with a season-low of 70. She won three tournaments and had two other top-10 finishes.
Stina Voigt of Converse was named Freshman of the Year. She is the second Valkyrie to earn the honor in program history joining Maddisen Cox who earned the honor in 2015. The Hamburg, Germany native was the top-rated freshman this season as she averaged 79.31 strokes per round over 16 rounds in seven tournaments. She has a low round of 71 this season with three top-20 finishes including two inside the top-10.
Hannah Luckett, in her second season at UNC Pembroke, was named Coach of the Year for the second consecutive year. She is the third coach to earn the honor in back-to-back seasons after leading UNC Pembroke to a second straight Conference Carolinas Women’s Golf Championship. The Braves played 19 rounds on the season and averaged 308.95 per round with a low of 297 and two event wins.
