2023 Women’s Lacrosse Championship Final Site Preview

WILSON, N.C. – The 2023 Conference Carolinas Women’s Lacrosse Championship will conclude this weekend at Electric Supply Company Field at Truist Stadium on the campus of Barton College in Wilson, North Carolina.
 
The top four teams remain alive in the tournament with the semifinals set for 12 and 3 p.m. on Friday, April 28 and the championship final set for 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 30.

The first semifinal matchup will feature top-seeded Mount Olive (12-5, 9-0 CC) against the tournament host and fourth-seeded Barton (10-7, 6-3 CC). The Trojans won the regular season meeting 20-6 on March 23 and are 7-0 all-time against the Bulldogs allowing just over four goals per game in those contests. Mount Olive is seeking its third consecutive tournament title while Barton is looking for its first. The Bulldogs defeated Emmanuel 17-3 in the quarterfinals. 

The second semifinal features No. 2 Belmont Abbey (1-, 8-1 CC) against third-seed North Greenville (10-, 6-2 CC). The Abbey won the regular season meeting 15-5 on March 29 and is a perfect 8-0 all-time against NGU with an average margin of victory of 11 goals per game. North Greenville earned a spot in the semifinals with a 16-9 victory over Converse in the quarterfinals.
